The Racecourse Ground (Y Cae Ras in Welsh) is home to Wrexham A.F.C. Wrexham play in the National League, the fifth tier of the English football league system. It’s the oldest international football stadium that still hosts international matches, and holds the claim to fame of having hosted more Wales international games than any other ground.

About Wrexham Association Football Club Stadium

The Racecourse Ground is the largest stadium in north Wales, and the fifth largest in Wales, with a capacity of 10,771. As well as holding football matches, it’s also played host to multiple rugby matches over the years. The stadium was home to former Super League club Crusaders RL from 2010 to 2011, and from 2012 to 2016, it was home to North Wales Crusaders. International Rugby League games have also been staged at the ground including Wales versus USA, and the grounds have hosted various music concerts including Motörhead, Stereophonics and Olly Murs.
