What to expect

Discover our stories, heritage and culture, as well as the communities that make Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent such special places. Created for the 10th anniversary of Staffordshire Day, the Staffy Trail is your invitation to get out and about, and see the county from a fresh perspective.

The Staffy Trail is a collection of heritage and art trails in and around Stoke-on-TrentStafford and Tamworth town centres ( with one sculpture in Lichfield and Uttoxeter); featuring individually designed and decorated large-scale sculptures of Staffy, our lovable tour guide and visitor mascot. As you follow the Staffy Trail, you’ll meet our pack of giant, colourful Staffy sculptures, each one lovingly designed by talented local artists and inspired by the people, places and pride of Staffordshire.

And whilst you’re playing super-sleuth and finding 38 other heritage stops that even locals don’t know about, you can ‘unlock’ the Staffy sculptures and get fantastic discounts and offers from local visitor attractions and businesses.

And while you’re out exploring, why not ‘paws’ and make a day of it? the route – there’s so much to enjoy right on your doorstep. So, are you ready to lead the pack? Let’s get this tail started. The trail runs until 17th July.
