Whether you're planning a First Class trip in advance, or decide you deserve a little luxury on the day, upgrading to First Class on a weekday is a piece of cake (or pudding, depending on the menu).
Can I upgrade to First Class on the train?
The simplest way to go First Class is to select a First Class ticket when booking. But if you've booked Standard and you feel like upgrading once you're on the train, just speak to the Train Manager. You can pay the difference onboard.
How much does it cost to upgrade to a First Class train ticket?
A little luxury doesn't have to cost a lot. You might be surprised at how cheap it is to upgrade to First Class, but it’s especially affordable on weekends and bank holidays, starting from just £15 each way.
