Travel update - short notice cancellations
We understand the disruption that short notice cancellations can cause, and the decision to cancel a service isn't taken lightly. We work hard to crew as many trains as possible and will inform you of any changes as soon as we can. We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused.
If your train is cancelled, you can use your ticket on the Avanti West Coast service before or after. If you abandon your journey due to a delay or cancellation, you’re entitled to a full refund, or if you travel and arrive 15 minutes late or more, you can claim Delay Repay compensation.
Free travel for Ukrainian arrivals
To help Ukrainian nationals travelling to the UK, we are offering free onward travel on our services to get you to a safe place.
To make use of this scheme, you will need to show your Ukrainian passport and a boarding pass or ticket showing your arrival into the UK. The offer is valid across all train operators in England, Scotland and Wales, and you will have 48 hours from arrival in the UK to complete your journey.
You will be able to use London Underground/DLR services if your journey requires you to travel between London national rail stations.
