A one-year Railcard is just £35 and saves you ⅓ on every train ticket you buy. If you know that you’ll be travelling a lot - a daily commute, perhaps, or you just like to travel by train - then it makes sense to get a three-year Railcard. Rather than £35 each year, you’ll just pay £80 and you can sit back, relax and enjoy your train journeys knowing that you’re making huge savings.
It’s simple: If you’re aged between 26 and 30, you can buy this Railcard. You can even purchase it any time before your 31st birthday and keep using it for a whole year until it expires, so you can keep saving for even longer.
You can only buy a 26-30 Railcard online - just head to our hub or app and enter your details. You’ll need:
Once downloaded, you can start saving on your travels straight away with no need to wait for the post as the 26-30 Railcard is the first digital-only Railcard. If your phone runs out of battery or gets lost, you can swap your 26-30 Railcard to another mobile device. Present your Railcard when you buy your ticket (or add it online when you're searching for a journey) and we’ll reduce the fare for you.
Where can I buy a 26-30 Railcard?
Railcards aren’t refundable. However, if your train is delayed, you can get compensation with Delay Repay if your train is delayed by 15 minutes or more. If you book your train tickets directly through us you’re eligible for Automatic Delay Repay, so you don’t even have to apply for compensation and we’ll process a claim for you automatically within 24 hours of your journey.
You can renew your Railcard any time before your 31st birthday. Just head to the 26-30 Railcard site within 30 days of the card’s expiry date. Log in, check your details, pay for your renewal and enjoy great savings for another year!
You can use your Railcard for savings on most train tickets, including:
You can’t use the Railcard for any other First Class services other than Advance tickets, and it can’t be used for Season tickets.
There’s a £12 minimum fare for all journeys made between 0.30 and 09.59 Monday to Friday (not applicable on public holidays). As you can’t use your Railcard for Season tickets, if you frequently travel during the morning rush hour for work or study, a Season ticket might be more cost-effective for you.
