Birmingham International Station

Directly connected to Birmingham International Airport via AirRail Link shuttle, Birmingham International Station is your destination for international travel, and much more besides. A covered walkway takes you directly to Resorts World Birmingham with a whole host of restaurants and outlet shops, a casino, IMAX cinema, hotel and spa, and to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), the UK’s number 1 venue for shows, exhibitions and events.

Designed by architect Ray Moorcroft, Birmingham International Station was opened on 26 January 1976. Located in Solihull, to the east of Birmingham city centre, it has five platforms numbered 1-5 from south to north. There is step-free access to all platforms. Facilities include toilets, accessible toilets on the concourse, WiFi and Customer Service support.

Birmingham International Station has a car park with over 2000 spaces and cycle storage comprising 18 bike stands plus a cycling compound with 27 spaces. Alternatively, you can catch the bus or a taxi from directly outside the station.

Managed by Avanti West Coast, Birmingham International Station is also served by CrossCountry, Transport for Wales and West Midlands Trains. Birmingham International Station has excellent transport links to the rest of Great Britain. From this station, you can catch a train to Birmingham New Street, Bournemouth, Edinburgh Waverley, Glasgow Central, London Euston, Manchester Piccadilly and Shrewsbury.
