Super Off-Peak tickets

The easiest way to get your ticket is as an e-ticket. You can save this to your device and have it on hand ready for our staff or barriers at the station. But, if needs be, there are other ways of getting your ticket. Find out more here.

We’ll always offer you an e-ticket where possible, but not all tickets can be sent digitally. If you’re travelling with a train company who doesn’t use e-tickets or you’ve added a travel extra like a bike reservation, you’ll need to collect your paper ticket from the station.

Your ticket will be accepted on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before or immediately after your booked train.

Your seat reservation can't be carried over to another service, but we have unreserved coaches on all our trains to help you find a seat.

If a cancellation means you no longer want to travel, your unused ticket is eligible for a full refund.

Yes, unused Super Off-Peak tickets are refundable for a fee. Find out more on our Refunds page.

Seat reservations will be offered where available. We’ll let you know if you have a reservation (and give you the option to change it) at the review stage of your booking.

On weekdays the following rules apply:

• If you’re travelling to London Euston, your train must not arrive before 13:00
• If you’re travelling to Milton Keynes Central, your train must not leave London Euston before 10.30 or between 16:00 and 19:00

On weekends and bank holidays all journeys between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central are Super Off-Peak.

The easiest way to find out if a train is Super Off-Peak is by searching for it in our online journey planner. If an Super Off-Peak ticket is available to buy for that service, then it's a Super Off-Peak train.

Super Off-Peak tickets have flexibility built in, so you can already take any Super Off-Peak train on the route and date(s) you’ve chosen. If you need to change something more, it’s best to refund your original ticket and rebook. Find out more on our Refunds page.

No break of journey is possible on a Super Off-Peak ticket because there are no stopping points between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central on Avanti operated trains.

You may be able to get Super-Off Peak tickets from another train company. You can still book through us.
