Rhyl Station

The north Welsh town of Rhyl greatly benefits as a result of its train station, which brings large numbers of travellers to its doors every year. Rhyl station lies just minutes’ walk away from Rhyl beach front where views across the Irish Sea can be enjoyed.

To accommodate the many visitors who come to enjoy its sea air and views, Rhyl hosts amenities including fast food restaurants such as KFC and McDonald’s, as well as clothing chains like Matalan, supermarkets such as Morrisons, and general stores like Home Bargains and Wilko. All of these facilities can be found within a five minute’s walk of the train station.

Rhyl railway station was officially opened in 1848 and much of the original building still remains today. Immediately outside of the station lies Rhyl bus station, where connections can be found across the town and the wider area. 

Bicycle parking is available on-site in a sheltered storage facility offering 10 spaces. A car park is also on hand, offering 38 spaces and four spaces for blue card holders. The car park has a daily rate of £7 per day or alternatively it is £1 per hour or 3 hours for £2.
