We want to ensure all our customers have the information and support they need for a straightforward and comfortable journey. You’ll find information below with accessibility resources, planned initiatives and ways to give feedback.

By letting us know if you have any specific travel requirements before you travel, we can help to make sure that your journey is hassle-free. Passenger Assist is our service for customers who need additional support when travelling. The service includes:
Reserving wheelchair spaces and seats, providing detailed rail information and being on hand to answer any questions.
Making sure assistance is available at stations and onboard our trains; and helping to support passengers with assistance dogs.
Ensuring there is help available for customers boarding and disembarking our trains.
We’ve launched Travel Companion, a dedicated communications channel to provide disabled customers with instant support during their journey.
The channel utilises WhatsApp to connect passengers on the West Coast Main Line to dedicated resource who will be able support any passengers that need it.
Our West Coast Main Line is designed to connect our customers. We want to make sure they can get to wherever they want to along the UK's West Coast. For our customers travelling with accessibility needs, we wanted to create a space and a community that focused on continually improving their experience travelling with Avanti West Coast. That's why the Accessible Rail Travel Facebook Group was created.
This Facebook community is a space for everyone to share travel tips, inspiration, ideas and hear from the Avanti West Coast team about what we’re doing as a business to drive positive change.
