No trains to/from Manchester Piccadilly 14-22 February

From 14 to 22 February, the line between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport is closed for major improvement work. Replacement buses will run between these stations, meaning journeys between Manchester and London will take longer. The mornings of Sunday 1 and 22 March are also affected, with replacement buses again in place until 12:30. Our other routes, including via nearby Warrington and Wigan, are running to and from London normally on these dates.

Other train operators running in and around Manchester may also be affected by this planned upgrade work. Visit National Rail Enquiries to find out more. Or use our online journey planner to find the quickest way from A to B, even during engineering work.
