Standard Premium onboard upgrade prices

Standard Premium upgrades start from around £20 one way, depending how far you’re travelling. That’s on top of the price of your Standard ticket. Take a look at the table below for the upgrade prices on our most popular routes.

Upgrade to Standard Premium

Standard Premium is offered on the majority of Avanti West Coast services and is subject to availability.

  • Secure your upgrade via website or app

    To guarantee your upgrade and to ensure a seat reservation, we advise you to book online before you travel. Simply log in to your account and select the journey that you would like to upgrade.

  • Onboard upgrade

    Just take an unreserved seat in the class of travel you'd like to upgrade to and speak to our Train Manager.
