Birmingham – Crufts (7-10 March):

The greatest dog show in the world takes place this spring at NEC Birmingham for it’s 30th edition. It’ll feature over 200 unique dog breeds participating in a range of competitions all vying for the coveted ‘Best In Show’ award.

Glasgow – International Comedy Festival (13-31 March):

With 500 shows to choose from including Scottish favourites, up-and-coming stand up’s and well-known comedians, such as Frankie Boyle and Ed Gamble, there’s something for everyone.

Manchester – Film Festival (15-24 March)

The 10th edition of the film festival will include many world and UK premieres, including films starring Rhys Ifans and Guy Pearce.

What's on in February

London - Imagine Children’s Festival (7 – 17 Feb):

The annual festival for children and their grown-ups is back, with more than 100 events to choose from – and loads of them are free! Ranging from CBeebies to Tom Fletcher’s ‘There’s A Monster in your Show’, there’s something for kids of all ages.

Manchester - Power Up at The Science and Industry Museum (10-25 February):

The Museum will open their Power Up exhibition across February half-term where you can play the best computer games from the last five decades. Alongside that, CBBC’s Operation Ouch! exhibition continues or maybe you fancy experiencing Art Battle Manchester live in a museum for the first time (9 Feb).

Glasgow - International Film Festival (28 Feb-10 Mar):

Open to all, the city’s annual celebration of cinema returns this February, celebrating it’s 20th edition. The festival schedule will be announced, and tickets on sale, at the end of January with over 250 screenings, premieres and events taking place so make sure you set an alarm to be first in line.
