Certain blackout dates apply. Confirmed blackout dates for 2025/2026 include but are not limited to: 19 December to 4 January (all routes) and 5 Jan to 14 Jan (Anglo-Scot route).
Percentage saving shown is calculated when comparing advance single tickets, as advertised regionally within the Feel Good Travel campaign, with the average fare available on the day of departure (excluding railcard discounts).
This applies to the following advance single ticket only price points in standard class; London to Liverpool (from £26), London to Birmingham (from £16), London to Manchester (from £35) and London to Glasgow (from £48).
The individual savings per route when compared to the average fare available on the day of departure have been weighted by operating journeys, as of 1 April to 19 June 2023, and averaged across the four given routes. This provides a total combined average saving across all routes of 42%.
Journey time shown represents a typical Monday to Friday journey.
