London Borough of Jam
When tasting their handmade preserves, you will always taste the fruit first followed by natural sugars and a special complementary flavour. That’s because since 2011, founder Lillie O’Brien has made sure to only use unrefined sugars and cook up their jams without commercial pectins. Their products are also dairy-free and totally vegan. We’d recommend trying their chuckleberry jam which you’ll find onboard and in our lounges.
Brew Tea Co.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Phil and Aideen Kirby, they create all our lovely teas in their Tea HQ over in Manchester. Next time you grab a cuppa with us, ask one of our team to try something from the range.
This unique distillery is based out of a 17th century barn, nestled 1200ft above sea level in the Peak District National Park. They predominantly use organic and foraged ingredients in their products, and all water used in the process comes from their own cool, clear natural spring.
The Pudding Compartment
Not far from our tracks in North Wales, Steve and the team at The Pudding Compartment are busy creating the rich orange and dark chocolate muffin, lemon shortbread and choc chip banana bread for our lounges, plus the red velvet Jammie Dodger cake served onboard and in lounges. They support many other businesses in the area by buying lots of their ingredients locally.

This independent Glasgow family business have developed a refreshing change to your morning coffee, afternoon pick-me-up or pre-activity boost with all the added health and anti-inflammatory benefits to help you keep up that busy routine.
The Pickle House
The Pickle House sprang into action over in Hackney back in 2014. Having first tried pickle juice across the pond in New York, founder Florence Cherruault wanted to create a recipe that was specifically made for cocktails and smoothies. After many months crafting the perfect pickle juice, they launched their first product: The Pickle House Original Pickle Juice. Since then, they’ve created award-winning pickle mixes which can be used in alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Try their Spiced Tomato Mix which you can find onboard and in our lounges.
Change Please are an award-winning social enterprise founded in 2015. They train people affected by homelessness as baristas and support them with accommodation, mental wellbeing and onward employment. We serve their coffee onboard and every cup you enjoy will change lives.
Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire Cheese
Located just four miles from our railway line in the heart of Lancashire, Mrs Kirkham has made her traditional cheese for over 60 years. Now the reins are held by her son, Graham, who continues to make the cheese on a daily basis using the same traditional technique handed down to him.
Worker Bee MCR
Worker Bee MCR is an independent Manchester-based tea and coffee company delivering specially selected tea, coffee and hot chocolate. They have created our very own unique hot chocolate which we serve onboard.
Rubies in the Rubble
Jenny (founder) was always creative with food whilst growing up. As an adult, she was shocked at how much fruit and veg people turned their nose up at because it doesn’t look ‘just right’. So, she did something about it. Jenny started saving produce from New Covent Garden market and experimenting in her kitchen with childhood recipes. Now, Rubies in the Rubble is one of the pioneering voices in food sustainability, with an award-winning range of ketchups, mayos and relishes stocked nationwide.
Our still and sparkling water is bottled at source in a small village at the foot of Wenlock Edge, Shropshire. We’re helping to reduce plastic waste by serving sparkling water from larger glass bottles rather than individual one-use plastic.
