What to expect

One of the most iconic events in the British summer calendar is set to return as Wimbledon takes over south west London for two weeks of world-class tennis, tradition and atmosphere. Held at the prestigious All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the Championships will once again welcome the world’s best players to compete on the famous grass courts, with matches running from Monday 29 June to Sunday 12 July 2026. Visitors can expect thrilling Grand Slam action, strawberries and cream, Pimm’s in the sunshine and the unmistakable buzz of Centre Court during one of the most celebrated sporting events in the world.

Alongside the headline matches, Wimbledon offers a full day out with lively outdoor screenings, courtside hospitality, the legendary Queue experience and a packed schedule of singles, doubles, mixed doubles and wheelchair competitions across the fortnight. Finals weekend will see the Ladies’ Singles Final take place on Saturday 11 July, followed by the Gentlemen’s Singles Final on Sunday 12 July.
